This design is actually really brilliant

It looks like a good design, but until they make something available for purchase it's just more hot air as far as I'm concerned. So far virtuix is the only company that has actually walked some of its talk and put units into the wild. Perhaps katvr will finally put something out there though. Omnis would certainly be a welcome addition to the consumer vr world, especially since they have a niche with people with small rooms and also with people who would like to get a cardio workout while in vr.

I looked into the KatVR a while back - it looks promising, but the price is ridiculous and I'm concerned about how tall it is. If they can produce a smaller, cheaper consumer model, I might be interested.

The KatVR Mini is pretty short and I assume cheaper..
